2006/9/5 Wake Me Up When September Ends这是一个真实的故事，发生在美国。
故事的主人公Evan和Jamie是一对情侣，和所有的情侣一样，他们相爱着，幸福的生活着，有自己将来的梦想。但是有一天战争打响了，Eva n被美国征兵去伊拉克。Evan是那种有着自己理想的男生,他的理想却在残酷的战争面前显得是那样的苍白无力。弥漫的硝烟，无情的战火，战场上只有人与人的屠杀。不幸的事终于发生了，在一次街道的战斗中，美军遭到顽强的抵抗，Evan中弹身亡。 在伊拉克的土地上他不仅仅放弃的自己的未来，而且留下了自己的生命。 没过多久，远在美国的Jamie听到了噩耗，失声痛哭，她在墓地看望他的时嘴里还喃喃的说："i love you so much~~,how can you do this，I'm never gonna leave you.
